Overview

The Mark Studios Extension ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed to enhance the Fiverr seller experience for the Mark Studios team. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data We Collect

Chrome Profile Email

The Extension reads the signed-in Chrome user's email address solely to identify team members. This email is mapped to a display name for attributing actions (such as client notes and brief history) within the shared team database. The email is not stored externally or shared with third parties.

OpenAI API Key

The Extension stores an OpenAI API key provided by the user in local browser storage. This key is used exclusively to make API calls to OpenAI for AI-powered features (reply generation, brief auto-answering, review replies). The key is never transmitted anywhere other than directly to the OpenAI API.

Fiverr Page Content

The Extension reads content from Fiverr web pages you visit, including:

Inbox messages (for AI reply generation and conversation analysis)
Order details — buyer names, prices, delivery times (for deadline tracking and dashboard sync)
Brief content (for auto-answer generation)
Review content (for AI review reply generation)

This data is processed locally in the browser or sent to the OpenAI API for AI-powered features. It is not collected, stored on external servers, or sold.

Third-Party Services

The Extension communicates with the following third-party services:

OpenAI API (api.openai.com) — Fiverr message and page content is sent to generate AI-powered replies, brief answers, and review responses. Data sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Google Apps Script (script.google.com) — Order data is synced to a private Google Sheet managed by the Mark Studios team for internal tracking.
Firebase Realtime Database (firebaseio.com) — Client notes and brief application history are synced across team members via a private Firebase database.

Data Storage

All user preferences, cached data, and API keys are stored locally in the browser using Chrome's built-in storage APIs (chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local). No data is stored on servers owned or operated by Mark Studios, except for the team-shared Firebase database used for internal collaboration.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer user data to third parties. Data is only transmitted to the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide the Extension's features.

Data Retention

All locally stored data can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the Extension or clearing browser storage. Data in the shared Firebase database can be deleted upon request.

User Control

Users can:

Disable any feature via the Extension popup toggles
Remove their OpenAI API key at any time
Uninstall the Extension to remove all locally stored data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
